BEAR BLACK California Red Wine

The brief was to create a standout label for the new California Red Blend wine for the Greene King bar chain.

The team came up with the name BEAR BLACK and client was looking into the typography route.

BEAR BLACK type was created in the shape of the bear. Premium look & feel ‘black on black’ label was printed using different textures (hi-gloss / matte and red hot foil).

The BEAR BLACK wine is currently on sale in Greene Kings pubs.

This label design received a Bronze medal at the Harper’s Design Awards this year.
